I love Life in the Fun Lane.

Everything she does is so clean and elegant. 

I'm totally trying this next year. 

I love the organic tree branches with the pot & ornaments.

Not to mention the powdered snow on the table.

After Christmas, I'll just clean up the snow 

and ornaments and let it stand on the table as is.

Solar Study for a Passive Solar Home

This semester I am designing a passive solar, barrier free, sustainable house. 

We were able to choose our own clients and own location. 

I have chosen to base my clients off people I know and located their home in Mesa, Arizona. 

Because Mesa gets so much sun, I wanted to include 

large overhangs on my home for a lot of shade protection.

 I also wanted to include an outdoor living space for the cooler months. 

On Google's SketchUp I did a solar study throughout different times of the day.
