I believe everyone deserves good design and beautiful surroundings no matter the budget, style, room, or individual. 

This quote caught my eye on Pinterest and I haven't been able to forget it. 

Some of the most beautiful designs come from Mother Nature, it's definitely one of the main places I seek for inspiration for my designs. But after seeing this quote, I've realized that beauty is in everything, sometimes we just have to look a little closer.

Whether it be in a sunset, in an art piece, or in a child's smile, taking the time to see the beauty around us, will lift our spirits and bring joy to our lives and those around us.

Is anyone else loving the new "chalkboard paint" trend? 

I especially love these ideas from Martha Stewart. One day I will have that chalkboard calendar...

I dream about it more than I dare say! ;)  Did you know that you can turn any color of paint into chalkboard paint? Just add 2 tbs of unsanded grout to every one cup of paint! 

Pretty sweet, huh! What color would you use?
